WRS Honors Rose Mologne

The Walter Reed Society (WRS) along with American Red Cross (ARC) honored Rose Mologne with the presentation of the first annual Rose M. Mologne Award in a ceremony on April 14, 2023 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  Beloved by all, Rose, a founding member of the WRS and a 40 year volunteer with the ARC passed away on April 1, 2022.  In collaboration with the Mologne family, the Society designed a commemorative coin with the inscription Recognizing Outstanding Service with Excellence (see coin artwork below).  Marianne Wyble, a long time ARC volunteer at the hospital, was selected as the first awardee .  She received the first Rose Mologne commemorative coin as well as an engraved crystal rose bud vase.
