ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE WALTER REED SOCIETY
WRNMMC will celebrate the receipt of 40 infusion chairs for the Chemotherapy (22), Infusion (6) and Dialysis rooms (13). The Society was enabled to make this significant contribution of medical recliners for the comfort of the wounded, ill and injured and their family members receiving treatment due to the generosity of many patriotic contributors over the past several years.
Medical recliners provide comfortable positioning for patients who must remain stationary for an extended period of time and prevent positional injuries. The new chairs not only enhance comfort and safety but also improve the ambiance of the treatment areas and increase the number of patients that can be treated at the same time.
You are welcome to attend on Tuesday, February 21, 10:00 – 10:30 AM, in the Nephrology Conference Room, Building 9 (Arrowhead), 1st floor. COL Heimall and RDML Lane will be present to welcome visitors, patients, families, and staff.
